Minutes of Meeting – September 8, 2011
Meeting held at Bronx Park Community Centre with 20 members in
attendance.

Treasurer’s Report
- J.M. reported that have $523.56 on deposit, and we have 23 paid up memberships.
MAAC Report
- Unscheduled MAAC meeting in August, to discuss the prospects of meeting with Members of Legislature, as MAAC hopes to set up a committee to negotiate with representatives of the government regarding vintage automotive issues.
- Next MAAC meeting is last week in September.

Business
· Russ will follow up on whether there is a date available for 567 Club to host a Sunday night cruise night at Pony Coral.
· Four 567 members attended the A&W cruise night on August 25, 2011.
· Tim S. attended the Morden Car Show, and won one of the Club’s choice awards.
· Some 567 members attended the Stonewall Car Show.
· The Crookston Car Show involved four cars from 567, with a total of 242 cars registered for the show.
· Richard P. will follow up with the final arrangements for jacket orders.
New
Business
- 567 Club members should meet at 9:15 a.m. on September 11, 2011, in front of Canadian Tire, to go into the Fabulous 50’s Ford Club Car Show at Garden City Shopping Centre.
- Upcoming car shows:
1. September 13 – Manitoba Street Rod Association at Deacon’s Corner, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.;
2. September 25 – Manitoba Street Rod (Toy Run) at Canada Revenue parking lot, Lagimodiere and Reenders, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.;
3. October 2 – Farewell to Summer (Manitoba Pontiac Association) at Pony Coral Restaurant on Grant Avenue, 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Time to start thinking about our Christmas evening, and Jim B. will check out the Nor Villa; Ken and Marilyn will check out Don Pedro’s; and Russ will check out Tavern United, and report at the next meeting.
- We will discuss a bingo bowl for either February or early March at our October meeting.
- Marcel mentioned that everyone should give some consideration to elections in January.
- World of Wheels dates will be March 16, 17 and 18, 2012.
Next meeting to be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Bronx Park Community Club on 720 Henderson Highway.
Addendum
Richard P. has agreed to complete matters with regard to the jackets ordered, and make the payment to the supplier, using his credit card. Therefore, all members who have ordered jackets should have cash or cheques available to reimburse Richard P. at our meeting on October 6, 2011.
