April 16/11
We meet at the Oak Bluff Community Center with Marcel senior and junior and kids, Ken, Tim, and Gary the weather was a little cool as it had snowed the night before. We headed of to Jean-Marc's. Jean-Marc had his neighbor over doing the computer on his engine. Jean-Marc showed us how his project was coming along, with some obstacles that he had encountered. He showed us his new complete front bumper (just amazing), his new fiberglass fenders. We enjoyed his hospitality. It was time to move on to Gary's place. ...We got to Gary's and were greeted by all his dogs and cats. Gary showed us his truck and Camaro. He fired up the truck for a short time. Gary then took us to his shop and showed us what his project was now. Gary had just changed out an inboard engine on a boat that was sitting up on his hoist. After enjoying some refreshments it was time to head to Tim's place. ...After a short drive we were at Tim's place. Gerry had come over and showed us what Tim was working on for him on his 56. Tim showed us his 57 and some of the things he was waiting for and hoping to have it for Rodarama. Tim gave us tour of his shop and other project around his yard. We enjoyed some refreshment at Tim's and it was time to head off home. Great garage tour. - Rodarama four of the 567 Club of Manitoba members had entered cars in the annual show. All the cars were on display polished to perfection. Three of the members won awards for their presentation, but all the cars and trucks were amazing. Below are some pics of the cars at the show.

- Portage la Prairie Car show on the island. Marcel and Lil came by pretty early as I was unloading the truck. We caught up to Marcel, Lil, and Jean-Marc in Fanistal. We carried on to Portage. The park was great as ever. Ron came and park with us. It was a great afternoon with good friends and shiny cars and trucks.

- June 25/2011 Morning started out with the SummerShocker Car Show put on by the Illconformity Car Club. Meet up with some past and current 567 Club of Manitoba club members. The weather was great and a little to much UV for some. The show was a lot of fun with their milk chugging contest and drag racing. At the award Tim and Gary won best 25 of show and Tim also won best car of show.
- The show ran a little late to get to the BBQ on time but we got there just in time for the food. The BBQ was great and location was great, many tanks to Richard and Bev. We had a few 567 vehicles show up as there was a high risk of thundershowers (not a good thing if it hails). The BBQ was a lot of fun with great food and great friends and great weather.

- Collector Car First Annual Appreciation Day We met behind the Via train station to form our group. At 3:30 we headed out on to main street to make our way to the legislative grounds. Who would think it would be so hard to get a dozen or so cars on to Main street during the start of rush hour traffic, but we did it with a little bit of making an extra turning lane onto Broadway. We got to the ground together but there wasn't enough room for all of us to be together on Memorial Blvd, so some had to go in front of the legislative grounds. There was a large turn out by all Winnipeg car guys and gals. The day was great and the entertainment was excellent.

- July 10/2011 We're off to the Gimli Car Show. Met up with Marcel and Lil and headed north on #8 We missed the turn off to Matlock by a couple of miles, so Marcel pulled over and checked his map. We doubled back and all was good. We registered and had our pancakes. We decided to take the car show lake tour. It was a great cruise along the lake and through the cottages and small resort towns. We arrived at Gimli at the same time as Darrel and Trish. It was a hot day. we were lucky enough to find a little shade. Jim and Janice showed up a short time later. We checked the other cars at the show and ran into more friends. After the show we started to head off to go to Selkirk to catch a bite to eat at Roxy's. Great food and good prices.

- July 28/2011 We met on Main St. and headed north. We took the River Rd. scenic route with the nice leisurely drive. We crossed the river at the Lockport bridge to get to the halfmoon. The place was busy as expected. We enjoyed some food and visited until sunset. Headed back along Henderson Hwy.

- Bowling Feb.11/12
The 567 Club of Manitoba Bingo Bowl evening was a great success again. There was a good turnout for the event. A big thanks to the staff and management at Gondola Pizza at 771 Henderson Highway the food and service was excellent and the price was just unbeatable.
After supper we were off to Rossmere Bowling Alley. I think we were all ready for a nap as we were all stuffed. The bowling was very close, all the games could have been won by any of the teams. Great food and great friends made for a great evening.
Many thanks to Bob and Donna for putting all the work and effort in making the bingo bowl evening a success again.
