Minutes of Meeting – AUGUST 4 2011
Meeting held at Bronx Park Community Centre with 15 members in
attendance.

- No report, but members are reminded that there is a tailgate swap and show at the headingley community centre August 20 from 9:00 – 3:00

Business
.The collector car show had about 300 cars in attendance with about 10 from our club
.the Gimli show was good with Darryl winning best of show – Congratulations
.the Deacons corner show was attended by Bill and Tim and the show was successful
.the South beach show was again a great show and members said there was no room left around noon
. On July 28 th 4 cars went to the Half Moon where we met Jim & Janice

Business
.Our car club was approached to be the host car club at a Sunday night cruise night at the Pony Corral- Russ will look more into this and see if we can get a date in September
. A & W cruising for the cause will be August 25 th and we will go to the Lockport one meeting again just north of the Perimeter on the left side in the lot and leave at 6:00PM

Marcel knows of a 55 2 door post for sale not sure of condition but if interested call him at 878-2918
Bill has 2” drop spindles with a complete set of disc brakes for sale and some rear springs
Russ has a complete drive train from a 96 vet for sale can be heard running as it is still in the car
In regards to the jackets the up charge for your name is $5 and for the year and make of the car is $7
We will check and see if we can get the logo back from star as we might have paid $300 for it

There are 4 vehicles going to the Crookston show contact ken 632-7948 if you are interested
Our next meeting will be held on Sept. 8 to accommodate the Bronx Park open house please come out and support this event and I am sure Bob will try get us safe parking. The meeting will start at 7:00 and cars are expected to be there at 6:00 .
